Use of the tools

The tools on this site are provided free of charge, "as is", without warranty of any kind. You may use them for personal and commercial purposes.

No official or legal advice

All results (check digits, classification codes, crosswalks) are suggestions computed from public data and standard algorithms. They are not official rulings, customs advice, legal advice or a substitute for verification with the competent authority (GS1, U.S. Census Bureau, customs authorities, etc.).

API plans and payments

The CodeClassify API offers a free tier (25 calls per month, hard limit) and paid options: one-time credit packs ($10 for 1,000 calls, credits never expire), and Pro/Ultra monthly subscriptions with a fixed monthly allowance. Payments are processed by Stripe or by the RapidAPI marketplace, depending on where you subscribe.

• API keys are personal: do not share or resell them. We may suspend keys used abusively (automated signup farming, attempts to bypass limits, illegal use).
• Failed or invalid requests (4xx/5xx) are never counted against your quota or credits.
• Subscriptions renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time from the payment provider; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. After cancellation the key reverts to the free tier.
• Credit packs are delivered immediately upon payment; as digital content supplied instantly, statutory withdrawal rights may not apply once credits are delivered, except as required by law.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the tools or reliance on their results.
